This page describes the Linked Editing feature of WACHandler that was introduced in version 2.1.

Linked Editing (or just Linked-Edit) in WACHandler allows the user to edit the track info in, for exampel, a PC folder, and if this Track exists in a WAC and/or in the WACHandler CDDatabase, the track information will automatically be updated there as well.

For example, imagine a Track with the following information :
 Title  = Love Will Tear Us Apart
 Artist = Joy Division
 Album  = Permanent
 Genre  = Rock

This track exists in :

• a PC Folder (that WACHandler displays in the lower Tree)
• in the WAC
• on a CD that is currently inserted in the PC where WACHandler is running

Now, if all Linked Edit settings (see more below) are enabled, the user may edit the track info for this track in either the WAC, CD or PC Folder tree and the track info will automatically be updated in the other units.
Example :
  User : Changes the Track Title to "ABCD" in the PC Folder tree
  WACHandler : Updates the Track info in the WACHandler CD Database and in teh WAC
